Ode to my Toothbrush

oh, gentle nylon bristles
massaging my gums
scouring my pearlys

     these masticating champions
     of my vital mouth

oh brush! oh tool!

in the daily dental process
of which you are a necessity

I bow to your brushy goodness,
your plaque denuding capacity

        yet,

you are naught, but for toothpaste...

(original, by yours truly ;-)
