Starcraft 2!!

The long awaited sequel was finally unveiled a few days ago. I was super stoked to hear it, but upon reviewing the site, the game looks more like an update than a sequel.... Definitely not the giant leap that was Warcraft 2 to Warcraft 3. But anyway, still looking forward to it.

(Bonus gameplay footage on YouTube: 1, 2, 3, 4. Definately some cool new units and abilities)

Photos of Symbolic American Consumption

Running the Numbers: An American Self-Portrait

When I see this, I mostly think of energy and waste. All these photos just express energy use, so if the energy was generated without serious environmental impact, then it wouldn't be a problem. Also, all these things can be recycled. Again, simple energy use, if done appropriately. Though most often they probably end up in landfills.
